South Africa stayed alive in the T20I series as they equalled the series line by chasing down a 189-run target comfortably. Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni’s fifties helped India to finish with 188/4 in the overs after their top four collectively added only 55 runs. The home team lost early wickets in a hope of pushing themselves ahead on the DLS par score but a 30-ball 69 from Heinrich Klaasen ensured a safe passage with no occurrence of the interruption. Captain JP Duminy scored an unbeaten 64 to take his team home with eight balls to spare.
