Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) haven’t won a single trophy thus far in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite this, the franchise boasts of having a massive fan following and continues to receive abundant love from the fans.  Not only the cricket fans, but many notable personalities from different fields also support the Bangalore outfit.

Recently, South India’s celebrated actress Rashmika Mandanna started trending on Twitter. The reason behind the same was that the diva named RCB as her favorite IPL franchise. Rashmika was live via her official Instagram handle to interact with her fans and answered a variety of questions relating to her personal and professional life.

Meanwhile, a fan asked the actress about her favorite IPL team. To this, Mandhana replied, “Ee Sala Cup Namde”. Ee Sala Cup Namde is the official slogan of the Bangalore outfit and was introduced by the Kannada fans to give a boost to the team and motivate them to bounce back stronger and win the title.

The slogan means that this time around the cup is ours. Rashmika’s answer initiated a meme fest on Twitter with the cricket enthusiasts coming up with hilarious memes and jokes.

RCB’s dream run in IPL 2021

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) experienced a decent run in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), hosted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The franchise was out of the tournament after losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Eliminator game.

However, the team buried the demons of the past and got off to a blistering start in the 14th edition of the T20 Extravaganza. They won their first match against Mumbai Indians and followed it up with wins against SRH, KKR, and RR. However, the team’s winning streak broke as they were outplayed by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The franchise didn’t mind the loss and they made a comeback against Delhi Capitals. They are now up against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 26th match of IPL 2021. Entering the contest, the Challengers have made only one change as they replaced Washington Sundar with Shahbaz Ahmed.
