Statistical comparison of the first season of various T20 leagues

With the onset of IPL on 18th April 2008, cricket got a new dimension and from that day to this day, various cricket’s perceptions have certainly changed by some destructive players like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum etc. and after gauging IPL’s success various leagues have emerged around the world to promote cricket in their country and to give the youngsters a feel of international level at a very young age and players like Ravindra Jadeja, Shaun Marsh are the prime examples of that. After the IPL, in 2011/12 two new leagues were born – Big Bash League (BBL) and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL); the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) started in 2013 and recently we saw the Pakistan Super League (PSL) gain popularity and success in its very first season.
On this occasion, here we present statistical comparison of the five T20 leagues – IPL, BBL, BPL, CPL and PSL:
