The Bangladesh cricket team has not had a very smooth world cup 2015 this far; their match against Australia was washed out by rain. In two matches they lost one and one was NR. Heading to play the match vs Scotland they were the favorites with so much more experience of international cricket behind the back.

Bangladesh won the toss and put the Scottish team in to bat first and they batted really well to post 318 on the board for the loss of 8 wickets with a huge ton from Kyle Coetzer (156 off 136 balls). But the Asian team fought back really well, opener batted superbly for his 95, Mahmudullah made run a ball 62. Mushfirqur Rahim and Shakib both struck half-centuries and in the end a stable 42 not out from Sabbir Rahman took them home to what is now one of the highest successful run-chases in world cup cricket. They easily chased down scoring 322-4 in 48.1 overs.
