<p>The kiwis did produce a number of sensational batsmen throughout the years. <p>The Sri Lankan team has produced a number of great batsmen with genuine class for throughout the years. Sangakkara leads the chart for the Lankans with as many as 93 half centuries by his name. Also, there were players like Jayasuriya, Jayawardene and the world cup winning captain, Ranatunga who have raised the standards of Sri Lankan batting to a phenomenal extent.</p>
