Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to retain his Purple Cap this season as he has clinched 25 wickets in 13 matches at an economy of 6.9. Bhuvi has been the spearhead of the Hyderabadi pace attack as he was miserly during the death overs and has taken crucial wickets to turn the game towards his side.

BK currently picks up wickets every two overs at a meagre average of 13 runs only. In the match against Kings XI Punjab, Manan Vohra threatened to take the match away from the Sunrisers’ as he scored 96 in no time. Kings XI were on course for a victory from the jaws of defeat.

Bhuvi kept a cool head on his shoulders and bowled a brilliant yorker to dismiss Vohra and it was game set match for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
