Twitter reactions: India makes a comeback to avenge Sri Lanka in 2nd Test: So finally after string of losses on foreign soil, the Indian team has won a Test match away from home. The win came by a huge margin of 278 runs. It is the 1st win for Virat Kohli as the Indian Test skipper. After the defeat in the 1st Test at Galle it was a remarkable return by the Indians as they outplayed the hosts completely in all the departments of the game. This Test match also marked the end of Kumar Sangakkara’s international career. Though it was not a fairy-tale ending but that doesn’t take anything away from his glorious cricketing career.

In the match KL Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane stroked centuries which helped India to get into the position of ascendancy. On bowling front the Indian spinners Ashwin and Mishra were exceptional while the Indian pacers Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav also helped the side to get some crucial breakthroughs.
