In 2008, Virat Kohli made his debut at the international level, having captained the Indian U-19 team to World Cup glory earlier that year. He soon became a household name, performing constantly well for the Indian senior team. Because he burst into the scene after winning the U-19 World Cup, early in his career he became a well-known star.

He was also known because of his terrific attitude on the field and consistency with the bat. Back in the day, the Indian cricket team captain, at an event, had revealed one of his biggest off-field achievements. While speaking with an anchor, a young Kohli said that earlier in the day Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif had spoken to him for two minutes.

Kohli termed this as his best achievement off the field. The old video of this interview of the Indian cricketer has gone viral on Instagram now. One of the fan clubs of Virat Kohli has shared the video. Interestingly, Kohli has been part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the IPL since 2008. During some of the earlier seasons, Katrina Kaif was the brand ambassador of the RCB team and was often seen during the matches of the Royal Challengers.

During his younger days, Kohli was linked up with many other celebrities. However, after dating popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for more than three years, the couple finally got married in 2017. Earlier this year, the couple even gave birth to a daughter and named her Vamika.
