Indian skipper Virat Kohli is an out and out Punjabi. He is someone who is always energetic and thoroughly enjoys Punjabi music as well as Bhangra. The 30-year-old is currently leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is the Indian Premier League (IPL). His team has performed terribly in the season thus far and they have won only one game out of eight. This essentially means that RCB is knocked out of the playoff race.

Even though there are a few permutations and combinations going around, all that seems to be highly improbable. Thus, Kohli is taking things with a much lighter heart at the moment. Even though he is an extremely determined individual when on the field, he isn’t carrying the burden off it and is trying to enjoy the wonderful moments between the games. The RCB skipper also hosted the entire team for dinner at his residence in Mumbai along with his wife Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli’s new look goes viral

Also, the right-hander decided to share a never-seen-before look across his social media platforms. In his last photo, Virat Kohli donned a simple kurta-pyjama along with a turban. “Sat Shri Akal saarreyaan nu!” wrote Virat as the caption for the picture uploaded. In Punjabi, ‘Sat Shri Akal’ is a phrase that people use to greet each other. So, the meaning loosely translates that Virat is greeting all of his fans with that message.

Virat hasn’t been at his best this IPL season. He has played in all the eight matches but only managed to score 278 runs at an average of 34.75. Even though these are decent figures, he has set the standards for himself so high that they look quite normal. He is expected to take some rest at some stage of the tournament before he flies to England with Team India for the World Cup 2019.
