The Indian team is in a spot of bother at the moment. They were down to 35 for a loss of three wickets at the end of day’s play. They still need to score 252 runs on day-5 which seems highly impossible. With the pitch having some variable bounce, they have to toil hard to ensure a draw. Also, captain Virat Kohli after hitting a wonderful century in the first innings was dismissed cheaply yesterday. All of India’s hopes will swirl around the success of incumbent Cheteshwar Pujara.

India never won a series in South Africa. Many experts believed that this is the most balanced team ever touring the rainbow nation. Contrary to their beliefs, team India succumbed to pressure at crucial junctures of the game. Although they have fought well so far in the series, it hasn’t been enough to yield positive results.

Stump Mic does the job again

Amidst all the cricketing action, something that has got Indian fans excited is Virat’s banter caught on stump mic. Being the aggressive character that he is, the Indian captain doesn’t shy away saying a thing or two to the opposition. He constantly tries to get into the heads of the batsmen to disrupt their rhythm. He is also seen encouraging his bowlers standing at the slips. The social media is filled with various jibes that Virat took to the opposition in the last three days.

In South Africa’s second innings, the Indian seamers rattled them early. The bowlers had impressed everyone with their performance. They restricted South Africa to a low score. The pitch was also assisting spinners with some good turn and bounce. It was in the fourteenth over of the innings when Virat handed the ball to ace-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Both the batsmen struggled to tackle the spin of Ashwin. Virat was cheering Ashwin from the slip cordon.

Virat was heard saying:

“G*#nd phati hain bhenc*@d daalo ek jaaga pe chalo Ash,” while cheering Ashwin.

However, Dean Elgar and AB de Villiers didn’t let their concentration shatter. They paid no heeds to Virat Kohli and ensured that they build a good partnership. Some fans found this very amusing while others felt Kohli could have behaved in a better way.

Courtesy Virat, the word ‘bhenc*@d’ is now famous all across the globe. Ross Taylor was caught using this word in New Zealand’s tour to India in a test match when Virat was batting. Taylor using this word even took Virat by surprise.
