Legendary Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram finally got to see his adorable daughterAiyala  after being apart for 10 long months. The duo spent some memorable time together and recorded a sweet video of their reunion, which many speculated Akram’s better half Shaniera recorded. While meeting his daughter Aiyala, Akram also expressed gratitude to his wife for taking good care of his daughter in his absence.

Akram also shared this beautiful meeting of his daughter Aiyala on his official Twitter and captioned the post, which said, “Finally seeing my daughter after 10 months apart,” Wasim Akram captioned the footage on the microblogging site.

Akram was also quick to not forget his wife’s contribution in taking care of his little princesses. “Thank you, Shaniera, for raising such a beautiful little princess while we have been apart,” Akram further wrote.

As soon as the post went viral, many fans and followers showered the legendary Pakistani cricketer with blessings and wishes. Wasim Akram was away from family due to COVID-19 restrictions and norms. His wife and kid reside in Australia, where in recent times a surge in positive cases was seen. The government had also imposed a strict travel ban on those returning to Australia.

All these factors coupled with Akram’s work commitments in Pakistan meant that he could not meet his daughter for 10 months. After completing a mandatory 14-day quarantine, Akram bonded with his little princess and shared some memorable moments with her.
