In this hilarious take on what all has changed among the fans and the players from the time Sachin Tendulkar was playing to the time Virat Kohli is playing. The video by Standup Comedian Appurv Gupta aptly describes the things that have changed in the last 10 years.

In the fifth episode of ‘Mudde ki baat Guptaji ke saath’, the anchor has taken a good dig at the way things are being covered in world cricket. He rightly spots that no matter how the player plays, he never gets his individuality. If Virat Kohli fails to score, it is said that he is not as good as Sachin; if he does well, if he plays well, he is remarked as the next Sachin.

A hilarious dig is also taken on the recent release of the trailers of the biopics of cricketers. As described in the video, when people see the trailer of MS Dhoni’s biopic, they get motivated at how a young man from a small village has made giant strides in the game  of cricket; when the people watch the trailer of the biopic on Sachin, they get goosebumps; but the moment they see the videos of Mohammad Azharuddin’s biopics, they can see everything other than cricket in it. It all seems as if a young man has come in to become a mafia.

Times have certainly changed. There was a time when players shared great camaraderie on the field and now, in the present day, the swearing on the field seems to have no ending. Watch this video here and see Gupta ji rip apart the transition from Sachin’s era to Kohli’s dominion:
