Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar recently released his first ever song along with veteran singer Sonu Nigam. The singing arena is something different from the usual that Sachin has been associated with in his long illustrious career. However, his love for songs is not an unknown fact for many. Sachin got his very name from popular singer Sachin Dev Burman. His father, Ramesh Tendulkar, was a big fan of SD Burman and hence he named his son after the singer.

Over the years, Sachin Tendulkar has often been dedicated with songs by his fans and the cricketer never failed to acknowledge that. Now, the batting maestro brought in a new surprise for his fans when he made his singing debut during the finals of the ninth edition of the Indian Idol.

The mentor of the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL launched his song that is titled, “Cricketwaali beat pe!”. Sonu Nigam, who is a renowned Bollywood singer, has sung the song with him. The song begins with the words, “Gend aayi, balla ghuma, maara chhakka, Sachin, Sachin… nacho nacho sab cricket wali beat pe…”

The song is available on the 100MB application. The app is a common platform for all Sachin Tendulkar fans to interact with the cricketer. They can get instant access to all cricket updates on the app like the scores, players statistics and schedules. The acronym MB stands for ‘Master Blaster’, a name that was given to Sachin by his fans.

Speaking about the app, Sachin tweeted a video message wherein he quoted, “It is time to get up and close with me, and to be able to do that we have created a new platform called 100MB. What we are trying to create is all the information on me, whether it is social media updates or anything that I generally do in life, you’ll have it on one platform, one destination.”
