Watch: The South African team plays cricket in the dressing room: Dale Steyn posted a video of himself and his teammates playing cricket in the dressing room of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru. Rain has played a spoilsport in this highly anticipated match keeping the players indoors for the past 4 days and ended the Test in a draw. Play was possible only on day one hence most players must have kept themselves occupied with TV, play station, etc. Some of the visitors though found a way to keep themselves busy with a catching session in the dressing room.

In what appears to be a softball catching drill, Faf du Plessis is giving catching practice to Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada with Imran Tahir bowling. Like most dressing rooms, this one also appears to be in a mess with the players’ kits being scattered everywhere. These four to their credit though are seen making full use of the big room and having fun sharpening their catching skills.

South Africa was in a difficult position in this Test match and will need a huge effort to bounce back in the series. A draw at Bengaluru has ensured that the series is alive and their players appear relaxed and rightly so. Steyn was ruled out of this Test due to an injury and will be hoping to regain full fitness before the Nagpur Test that begins on the 25th of this month.
