What is the Rarioverse?

Watching your favorite cricket shots, deliveries, and catches on loop in the form of a video is something that everyone does, but have you ever thought of owning those memories from the game? Yes! Rario is a platform where a cricket fan can collect, trade, and play using officially licensed player cards.

The officially licensed player cards are the digital assets, owning which makes it possible for a cricket fan to get their hands on the most iconic moments in cricketing history. Rario recently teamed up with Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers’ Association for a multi-year exclusive partnership to provide cricket fans the opportunity to own some of the greatest moments ever witnessed on Australian soil. Rario also raised $120 million series A funding led by Dream Capital, the Corporate Venture Capital and M&A arm of Dream Sports. This partnership has given the 140 Million users of Dream Sports to access Rario and be a part of the new digital ecosystem.

Rarioverse is a digital community for cricket enthusiasts where they can communicate with one another, exchange cricket artifacts, and own a piece of the game’s history. At Rarioverse, fans now have a devoted platform to not only interact with other fans, but for the first time ever, they can also buy, sell, trade, and play for the officially licensed player card of their favorite player.

Here are the major components of Rarioverse

Rario Club:

These officially licensed player cards grant you unique entry to the Rario club in addition to giving you ownership of your favorite moment. The Rario Club is a gathering place for Rario's officially licensed player cards owners where they can win prizes, acquire tickets to games, and meet and play with their favorite players. Members of the Rario Club would also get an opportunity to be a part of one of the most exciting tournaments- The Rario Premier League.

Rario Partners:

Rario has partnered with multiple leagues, cricketers, associations, and cricket organizations. Rario also has exclusive rights of the moments from the Lanka Premier League, the Caribbean Premier League, Abu Dhabi T10 League, and the Legends League Cricket as a result of their association as they eye on expanding the partnerships.

Not just the leagues, but Rario has also partnered with some of the top cricketers like Faf du Plessis, Aaron Finch, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Siraj, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Smriti Mandhana. Indian veterans Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan are also brand ambassadors of Rario

Rario Packs:

The officially licensed player cards can be accessed through the packs. The finest moments from the history of these leagues have been collected into Rario and have been divided into categories based on the level of play, the grandeur of the players, and their significance in the match. There are 4-5 officially licensed player cards of silver, gold, and black cards in each pack.

These cards are identified by their names, which communicate the uniqueness of the card. The silver pack is the easiest to access, with black being the toughest. The buying and selling of these packs happen in the Rarioverse when they are dropped (go live) as the fans can purchase them through their debit or credit cards.

Rario Marketplace:

The Marketplace can be best defined as a wishlist for the players to collect all their favourite moments in one single place. It is a place that is completely run by the Rario users as the fans indulge in various activities. The fans get to engage and communicate in the marketplace as it creates a trading platform for them to buy and sell their cards to create a memorable collection of historic moments. The Rario Marketplace caters to the needs of traders. Users may buy packs and offer cards in the marketplace whenever they want.
