The news of former Australia cricketer Dean Jones passing away has shocked the cricketing fraternity. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon according to Star India’s official statement. Jones, 59, was in Mumbai to cover the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and was in the bio-secure bubble staying in a hotel along with the rest of the team.
While his analysis and commentary was exceptional, his words used to connect with the audience quickly. Not only a better commentator, Dean Jones was a brilliant coach and had donned the role in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He had a red book with him every time and its significance increased during the 2018 PSL season when his team Islamabad United was doing well.
The picture of Dean Jones carrying the red book had gone viral on social media then and many were interested in knowing what all was there in the book. While the man never revealed the secrets of the content in the book, he had posted a tweet (which is deleted) with a diagram giving a sneak peek of it.

Dean Jones had revealed a few contents about his book during IPL 2018
Dean Jones has been covering the IPL since long time and was part of it during the 2018 season as well. His red book mystery travelled from PSL to IPL as well as his colleagues Brad Hogg and Brett Lee had quipped him about the same. This is when the Australian had revealed some of the content in the book and had hilariously revealed that he had one more such book as the existing book was full with details.
Jones had told then a lot of data was present in the book and told that it also includes the lengths which bowlers should not bowl to a batsman like Andre Russell. He had also said that there is absolutely everything, a solution to every problem in the book.
