Yuvraj Singh has been striking the ball well this season for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He started the campaign with a bright 62 which came off just 27 balls against his previous franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Since making a successful comeback to the Indian ODI team, Yuvraj has looked a different player in this year’s IPL. He has plundered 5 sixes already in 3 innings and has looked good in every outing. His strike rate of 186 so far this season is a true reflection of his good form.

While he has been in good form on the field, Yuvraj has been in good form off the field too. He was recently seen trolling former India great VVS Laxman, who is currently the Team mentor of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The jam-packed season of the IPL means that the teams are on the road all the time. Because of the tight schedule, Laxman decided to catch up on some sleep in a flight but had no clue that he was being clicked by none other than Yuvraj Singh. Muralitharan was sitting beside Laxman and had a grin on his face. Yuvraj captioned the picture as ‘Me and Murali Sir enjoying a very very special view of snoring’. The southpaw uploaded the picture on Instagram.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were off to a great start this season till they succumbed to two consecutive defeats, one against KKR and the other against Mumbai Indians. They will be happy to see the rise of Rashid Khan, who has bowled superbly in his debut IPL season. Rashid has been another addition to the already strong bowling line-up.

Sunrisers play their fifth game of the season on Monday against Kings XI, which will be their third game this season on their home ground Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Interestingly, Sunrisers have won both home games so far this year at the venue and Warner would be hoping that the record remains intact.
