25-year-old man arrested for threatening Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan

India pacer Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan is in the news yet again. A 25-year-old man was sent behind the bars from Kolkata for threatening her over the last two months demanding money from her. After a complaint was filed by Jahan, the man was arrested from the Canning Station Road area.

“First it was Jahan’s former domestic help who started calling her, demanding money. Then it was a man, claiming to be the woman’s son. He was demanding money and threatened that otherwise, he will post her personal photographs and mobile numbers on social media. The person also hurled abuses at her,”  the police officer said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

She had initially ignored the calls but later she couldn’t take it anymore and went on to lodge a complaint on Sunday (November 22). “Scanning both the numbers from where she was getting the calls, we picked up the accused on Tuesday night. A case has been started. We are also looking for the woman,” the officer said.

Hasin Jahan and her controversies

Jahan has hogged the limelight on numerous occasions after the couple got separated. She shared pictures of Mohammed Shami many times on her Instagram handle and also invited religious trolls after she posted about Ram temple Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya a few months ago. She received death and rape threats as well on the same issue as well.

She had even lodged a complaint about the same issue to the Kolkata Police Cyber Crime department at the Lalbazar headquarter, as per a police officer. Later, she has filed a plea before the Calcutta High Court to provide security to her and her daughter.

She got into the path of modelling and acting after her fallout with the pacer. She has been very active on social media and was seen sharing many pictures and videos on her social media with the Indian pacer even after separation and she has been trolled and bashed repeatedly over the same.

Time and again, Hasin Jahan has created controversies and stole the limelight for many wrong reasons.
