Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja may not be a run-machine like Virat Kohli but they are match-winners in their own right. Both the stars have bailed out the Blue team on numerous occasions. They have regularly shouldered the responsibilities of the Indian team with their all-round skillset. Over the years, their athleticism has helped the team form one of the formidable fielding units in their cricketing history.

Both of them have been efficient servants of Indian cricket. Along with their international record, their IPL contributions also prove the point. Having said that their integrity to the country’s cricket was in question when Lalit Modi accused them of spot-fixing. The former Chairman of the Indian Premier League sent the cricketing world into a frenzy by dropping a confidential email to the ICC.

As per Modi, three reputed cricketers from the CSK camp were involved in the IPL fixing saga. His email included the names of Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo. In that, he revealed that these players took bribes from a real estate tycoon cum bookie named, Baba Diwan.

He further added that they also accepted favours in the form of personal assets. Therefore, the BCCI took the help of ACSU to verify the claims. In the end, their report didn’t contain any evidence against them and it turned out to be a false allegation.
