Big Bash League has a special place amongst the many Twenty20 leagues that emerged in the past decade due to the success of the format. BBL, the major T20 league that formed after IPL, completed six editions and is gearing up for the 7th season starting on December 19th. Despite the lack of Australian Internationals due to their International calendar, the league has been a success thanks to the display of the quality by the overseas and the domestic stars. Perth Scorchers are the most successful team in the league with three titles and five appearances in the finals.

Here are all the records and numbers from the six editions of the Big Bash League:

2Luke Wright is the only player in the BBL history to score more than one century so far. 13 other players scored one hundred each in this league. Wright’s 117 for Melbourne Stars against Hobart Hurricanes in the 2011/12 season is the highest individual score in BBL.
