The banter has rather eased out the tension, if there was any, between the two teams.

Tim Paine asking the Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant to babysit his kids has become the hallmark statement of the ongoing Test series. The banter has, in fact, has eased out the tense situation between the two teams on and off the field. Moreover, the trolling went to another level when Pant actually assumed the babysitter role on the New Year’s Day at Australia’s Prime Minister’s residence by clicking a picture with Aussie captain’s wife Bonnie Paine and kids.

There were all smiles in both the camps over it and interestingly, Pant didn’t mind it as well. Going ahead, Bonnie also posted the picture with the Indian youngster and kids in her Instagram story and hilariously termed him the ‘best babysitter’. The picture went viral very quickly and so did Bonnie’s popularity. Even ICC’s official Twitter handle gave a thumbs up while the cricketers across the world were left in splits.

Bonnie’s followers zoom up

Not many knew about Bonnie Paine before the picture went viral it seems. She had around 5,000 followers on the social media website Instagram and now she is being followed by precisely 36.2k people which is a considerable increase. No wonder even Bonnie herself has realised it and has acknowledged hilariously saying that all those followers are probably Rishabh Pant‘s fans.

In her recent post on Instagram with one of her kids, Bonnie’s friend brought to her notice about the increase in followers and Paine’s wife was kind enough in the response. “A lot of Pant fans I think,” she replied and surely, this would win a lot of hearts in a funny way.

Meanwhile, Tim Paine and Australia are fighting it out in Sydney which is a must-win game for them to level the series. India are looking good after opting to bat first even as they’ve lost Virat Kohli’s wicket soon after the Tea break.
