As we discussed earlier, Glenn Maxwell made an important contribution to Australia’s 2015 title victory with his batting in the middle order. This time again, Maxwell will be expected to play his part efficiently. Maxwell is one of the most experienced players in the current Aussie squad.

As a senior player, the team management will want him to deliver quality performances to the side while batting in the middle order. The explosive right-handed batter has played a lot of cricket in India as he visits the country every year to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Maxwell’s one-day numbers are decent in India. The veteran has hit 429 runs in 15 matches at a strike rate of 126.92. The 34-year-old has more than 11 years of experience in one-day cricket and during his immense career, he has appeared in more than 100 matches. Relying on his vast experience and incredible skills, the Aussie team will want him to exhibit his giant side as a batter.
