2. Brian Bennett (ZIM) vs Oman, Match No. 8
Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett delivered another fielding masterclass against Oman. Brad Evans bowled a clever back-of-the-hand slower ball angled into left-hander Nadeem Khan, who advanced down the pitch aiming for a big hit over mid-wicket. The shot lacked power but landed in open space. However, Bennett, stationed at deep mid-wicket, had other ideas.
He sprinted across the turf, covered significant ground, and then launched himself to his right. With superb balance and coordination, he caught the ball mid-air using both hands while still airborne. Oman lost a key wicket at a crucial stage, and the catch effectively pushed them out of the contest.
