“Has Elon Musk joined yet? If he hasn’t!! May be good idea to join ASAP (wink emoji),” shared Ashwin on his Threads handle.

Speaking about the veteran offie, Ashwin will next be seen in action in the forthcoming tour of West Indies, scheduled to kickstart on July 12. Ashwin has been included in the Test squad that will play two red-ball matches against the Windies in the series.

India to kickstart multi-format series against WI

Following a rare month-long break after the loss in the ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, team India are gearing up for the multi-format series against the Caribbean side. The side will play two Tests, which accounts for the ICC WTC 2023-25 cycle followed by a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series.

The ODI series will prove to be crucial for the Men in Blue as it will help them amp up their preparations for the ODI World Cup, slated to commence in India in October. Despite being included in the WTC final squad, Ashwin failed to make the cut in the crucial contest at The Oval in London against the Aussies.

Following the red-ball ICC final, Ashwin last made his appearance in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) for the Dindigul Dragons, as he claimed four wickets in four matches. Ashwin will look to make the cut in the two Test matches against the Windies and play a pivotal role in getting his side ahead in the series.
