By now, it is no news that England women team’s batter Danielle Wyatt is a big fan of Indian captain Virat Kohli. It all began in 2014 when she openly proposed to Kohli on Twitter after watching his innings of 72 in the World T20 against South Africa. Her tweet read thus – “Kohli, marry me!” Following this, the 26-year-old received a bat as a gift from Kohli himself.
Last year, she had also congratulated Kohli on his wedlock with Anushka. Wyatt, who, a couple of weeks ago became the first woman cricketer from England to score a T20I ton, will be traveling to India next month for a tri-series.
“Can’t wait to fly out to India next week & get back out there with the girls! One of my favourite places to play,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.

Commenting on the same, one of her fans said that he hopes to see Wyatt cheering for Kohli alongside Anushka in the RCB games. A prompt reply to this came from Wyatt, who said she will try and make it to one of the games.
Will try and get to a game ☺️☺️

Wyatt to use Kohli’s bat on her tour to India
In a recent interview to ESPNcricinfo, Wyatt also revealed that in the upcoming tour to India, she will using the bat gifted to her by Kohli, because the one she used in the Ashes was broken. The batswoman has played 53 ODIs and 73 T20Is for England and was also a part of the World Cup squad last year.
This only goes on to prove that Kohli does not have fans only outside of his cricketing circles, but people from the same trade as him are also as crazy about the legendary batsman. As of now, the skipper is enjoying his break from cricket and will be back in action in IPL 11.
