Rohit Sharma, on Sunday, scored his 3rd century in the T20I format to become the 2nd player after Colin Munro to score three tons in this format. The Indian opener narrowly missed his 3rd during the first T20I in Ireland where he got out in the final over of the innings scoring 97. Rohit also became the first player to score three centuries in each of the three International formats.

Rohit was man of the match and also the man of the series with his unbeaten knock in the decider. This was Rohit’s first man of the series award in T20I cricket despite making his debut way back in 2007 and playing 80 matches in this format. Thus, he became the only the 3rd Indian to bag a series award in all the three formats after Virat Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
