India and England will lock horns against each other in the second semi-final clash of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament at Adelaide Oval on Thursday (November 10). India finished the Super 12 Group 2 at top of the table with eight points from five games. They beat Zimbabwe by 71 runs in their last match with all-round display and are favorites to win this fixture as well.
England win against Sri Lanka in their last group-stage fixture and secured second place in the Group 1 table with seven wickets from five matches. England also beat New Zealand and Afghanistan but lost against Ireland on the D/L method. England have lost four of their last five T20I games against India but will put on a big fight for sure.
Here are 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams for the IND vs ENG game:
1. Axar Patel
The Indian bowling all-rounder was in sensational form prior to the World Cup but failed to make a similar impact in the Super 12 round with both bat and ball. He has scored only nine runs from three innings and has taken only three wickets from just four innings at a poor economy rate of 9.10, the worst among Indian bowlers in the tournament.
2. Moeen Ali
The experienced English all-rounder is struggling with both bat and ball on Australian pitches. He smashed unbeaten 24 runs against Ireland but that was his only impact in the Super 12 round. He has bowled only two overs from four innings with other bowling options available for England. Moeen has scored 38 runs and has taken no wickets in this tournament so far and should be avoided for the Dream11 selection for this fixture.
3. Rohit Sharma
Indian captain remains one of the best white-ball cricketers in the world but has been struggling for form this year. He smashed 53 runs against Netherlands but managed to score only 36 runs from the other four Super 12 fixtures. Rohit also struggled against England in the three-match T20I series in July with just 66 runs from three innings.
