Chennai Super Kings produced three thrillers in all three games they played so far in this season. They took the game to the penultimate ball against Mumbai Indians in the first game. In the second game, they took it to the final ball of the match. However, the third game ended in a defeat, but it was also a thrilling one as MS Dhoni almost finished the game for his team, but ended up four runs short.

In their first game, It was all about Dwayne Bravo, who propelled the almost lost CSK side to an improbable victory against Mumbai Indians. Sam Billings powered the franchise to their second victory against KKR. But, in the third game, things went wrong for the side, as they lost the game.

In all these three games, CSK bowlers were way expensive. Imran Tahir, the overseas spinner of the franchise conceded 35 runs in his quota of 4 overs in the last night’s game against Kings XI Punjab. He took the prized wickets of Mayank Agarwal and Aaron Finch, who have the ability to turn the game upside down.

Imran Tahir took to Twitter after the game and felt sorry for conceding way too many runs. He concluded his tweet by praising MS Dhoni’s knock and said that CSK will be back with a bang. His tweet read, “Sorry will put my hand up could have done better but gave it all I had.The team fought till the very end. How well did our captain cool play today. We will be back with a bang @ChennaiIPL #whistle podu”

CSK will take on the comeback side Rajasthan Royals on 20th April, Friday. With a gap of five days, we can expect the presence of Suresh Raina back in the playing XI. This will be a huge boost for CSK if the Mr. IPL comes back.
