It is that time of the year when entire India switches into a celebration mode. The cricket carnival in the country, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is back and will greet the fans with its 12th edition. As always, the new edition of the league promises to be bigger and better. It brings about a great deal of excitement and could also be the last for some of the legends who have graced the game.

All the eight teams tried to make up for their shortcomings in the auction that took place towards the end of 2018. With rejuvenated energies, these eight iconic teams will step onto the field yet another time to get their hands on the glorious and coveted trophy. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will enter the tournament as the defending champions but it is tough to predict if they’ll hold onto the title.
