Royal Challengers Bangalore completed a double against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 as they clinched a 6-wicket win while chasing a target of 178. Robin Uthappa’s quick-fire 41 at the top and Steve Smith’s 36-ball 57 powered the Royals to 177/6 despite a 4-wicket haul from Chris Morris. The RCB team began their chase well but they failed to score at required rate despite having wickets in hand. AB de Villiers, who walked in the 14th over, smashed six maximums on his way to an unbeaten 22-ball 55 as RCB completed the chase with two balls to spare.

A record haul by Morris:

2013 – The last instance of an RCB bowler before Chris Morris to pick a 4-wicket haul in the IPL outside Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium was Jaydev Unadkat in 2013 edition who took 5/25 against Delhi Daredevils in Delhi.
