It looks quite awesome with the perfect combination of colour being used in their uniform with their logo being used in a different way. The jersey is divided into two halves of black and red with the side being filled with black. Also, the golden colour is used at its piping.

Indian Premier League 2020 season is on the line with just a month and nine days left for the commencement of its 13th season. Every year, a plethora fans wait for the extravaganza to arrive in order to watch their heroes playing together on the field. It is arguably one of the biggest T20 tournaments in which overseas players also come and like to be part of it.
The franchise-based tournament will witness eight teams fight for the IPL title. For every team, there is a specific jersey that players wear during the games. In the Indian Premier League, the owners splash a hefty amount on their players. And, the same goes with their jerseys which are designed by some of the finest designers across the globe.
Most franchises try to come with one or more new and unique element every year in their jersey every now and then. Some changes are admired by the fans and vice versa.
On that note, here&#8217;s how the jerseys of all eight IPL teams look ahead of the much-awaited 13th season of IPL:
<h3>1. Delhi Capitals (6/10)</h3>

In the previous year, a change in their name and jersey turned the tables for them as they made into the play-offs but ended up losing the crucial game.
Their jersey looks pretty cool with collar and handcuffs coloured in red followed by light blue colour being used on the majority part of the uniform with the name of sponsor mentioned right at the front of the jersey.
Moreover, the sponsor name is written in a way that it shines a lot on the front portion. The franchise has tried its best to give it an attractive look as they used dark blue colour stripes giving a transitional effect to the jersey.
Furthermore, the same colour is used on the sleeves of the jersey. However, there is still a lot of scope for the improvement in Delhi Capitals jersey. Hence, it can be rated out as 6 out of 10 as far as the other jerseys are concerned.
<h3>2. Sunrisers Hyderabad (6.5 out off 10)</h3>

Sunrisers Hyderabad is also known as the Orange Army due to the jersey colour that the players&#8217; wear during the match. They are one of the strong teams that successfully lifted the IPL trophy back in 2016. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-full-schedule-fixtures-timings-venues-of-sunrisers-hyderabad-srh/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">SRH</a> players wear a jersey that is majorly filled with the orange colour.
The sleeves and sides of the uniform can be spotted in black as that colour is used to give a contrasting effect to the jersey. The reason behind the usage of orange colour is to match it with the same as that of their eagled logo that can be spotted printed near around the chest region.
Unlike others, their sponsor name is written in the upper half of the jersey with one sponsor name written at the back. Also, they have used golden colour over the shoulder part. The SRH jersey looks pretty simple that still need quite a few much-needed modifications. Thus, it can be awarded 6.5 ratings out of 10 based on their current uniform.

Rajasthan Royals, the former IPL champions is one of the underrated teams in the Indian Premier League. However, they surprised by winning the inaugural season of IPL back in 2008. Since then, the team has gone through many transitions and their jersey being one of those, who now wear simply a different uniform when they get onto the field in the cash-rich league.
Currently, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-rajasthan-royals-troll-royal-challengers-bangalore-for-using-the-wrong-logo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Royals</a> don a jersey coloured with baby pink all over the uniform with a splash of blue colour that starts from the left shoulder and goes past the collar of the jersey. It makes their uniform look quite fascinating for the spectators.
It is quite vigilant that Royals were in favour of using light colours on their jersey due to which they have used yellow colour in between the shirt with the sponsor&#8217;s name being written in red colour to give it a contrasting effect. They have improved quite a lot from their previous jersey but there&#8217;s still scope for further diminutive improvements.
<h3>4. Kolkata Knight Riders (7.5 out off 10)</h3>

Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the successful franchises who have won IPL trophy twice back in 2012 and 2014. They look quite enthusiastic when they go out in the field wearing their purple jersey covered with golden glittery lines all over the jersey. Actually the franchise has tried giving it a darker look with golden being used in context to fire.
The <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/tide-please-sponsor-them-twitter-goes-ablaze-after-noticing-the-colour-difference-in-india-and-new-zealand-jerseys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">jersey</a> number followed by its spikes on the back and front with the gold makes it quite different from the uniform of other teams. Even they have used the same colour on the shoulder fashion over the primary purple colour that is spread all over the jersey.
Although the main colour used is purple but golden has certainly dominated all over the jersey. Meanwhile, the title sponsor name can be spotted right at the front in white colour. So, according to us, it gets 7.5 ratings out of 10. However, in the future, introducing some more ideas over their uniform might help them in getting more points.
<h3>5. Royal Challengers Bangalore (8 out off 10)</h3>

RCB recently unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming edition. It looks quite awesome with the perfect combination of colour being used in their uniform with their logo being used in a different way. The jersey is divided into two halves of black and red with the side being filled with black. Also, the golden colour is used at its piping.
At the front in the lower half, the franchise has used their logo in red similar to the way Sri Lanka cricket team did back in 2019 <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20-world-cup-2020-5-reasons-why-australia-can-win-their-maiden-title/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">World Cup</a>. The two halves of red and black are divided with a golden sling.
Moreover, the new jersey holds Chinese collar made using red, black and golden. They have perfectly used the colours in a balanced way due to which every colour is quite visible on their jersey. Hence, they should not be given less than 8 rating for the commendable effort of the franchise in designing their new jersey.
<h3>6. Kings XI Punjab (8.5 out off 10)</h3>

KXIP has one of the fascinating franchise but they are still due to lifting their first IPL title. However, one thing that cannot be taken away from is the way the management has designed their players&#8217; jersey. It is a perfect combination of colour, royalty and attractiveness.  The word &#8216;King&#8217; in their team certainly defines the look of their players wearing the glittery red colour uniform.
The jersey is fully covered with shiny red colour with silver colour stripes being used on the shoulders followed by the same colour stripes being used at the back in the lower half.  Moreover, they have used red and silver colour in the collar that makes the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-full-schedule-fixtures-timings-venues-of-kings-xi-punjab-kxip/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kings</a> cricket uniform look quite impressive.
Although their performance cannot be rated as the best until now, their jersey certainly cannot be rated less than one of the best in the tournament due to which they have been handed with 8.5 rating out of 10.

The theme colour of their cricket uniform is yellow that can be seen all over their attire.
But the use of orange colour brings new essence to their uniform. The franchise has used orange colour to draw out their logo in the lower-left portion of the jersey.
