Rajasthan Royals would be playing their next clash against KKR in IPL 2021 on October 07, 2021. RR are languishing in the bottom half of the points table and their chances of making it to the playoffs are turning slim day by day. KKR’s win will only strengthen their position for the top four whereas the Royals will need a big win to make it count now.

Royals played their last game against Mumbai Indians and a terrible batting show was up for all to see. Not even one of their batters accelerated to push them to breach the 100-run mark and opponents won the game within 10 overs only. It will be a thing to see how they put their show against KKR and with what team combination they come up.

Predicted XI of Rajasthan Royals against KKR

Openers (Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal)

MI bowlers were breathing fire in their last game against the Royals and this is why their batting lineup failed miserably. However, Lewis and Jaiswal were still among those who reached double figures.  They have also shown up with the bat in past and will be in the playing XI against KKR too.

Middle-order (Sanju Samson, Liam Livingstone, and David Miller)

Though Samson failed in the last game of Royals, he has shown this season that he can be consistent with the bat alongside leading his team. Miller can also get a chance in their next game against KKR which will be all about the big win.

Glenn Phillips was roped in the game but RR might want to bring back Livingstone in their next game to score quick runs in the middle. Though he hasn’t come up really well with the bat, he might click for them in their crucial event.

All-rounders (Shivam Dube, Rahul Tewatia, and Shreyas Gopal)

Dube was an absolute star for RR in their game against CSK, wherein RR appeared their best so far in IPL 2021. He might get another chance against KKR whereas Tewatia can also be a part of the side in the next clash.

Tewatia has failed to click with the bat this season but he took three wickets in the game against CSK. On the other hand, experienced Shreyas Gopal might come to RR’s rescue in their crucial clash against Eoin Morgan and his men.

Bowlers (Chetan Sakariya, Oshane Thomas, and Kuldip Yadav)

Sakariya has been one consistent man for the Royals, though he went a little costly in the last game, he is the only pacer RR will rely on in the crunch moments. On the other hand, Mustafizur Rahman was consistently conceding runs in the last few games and he might not get a chance in the next game and RR might pick Oshane Thomas ahead of him.

Thomas has earlier played for RR and the last person in pecking order might be Kuldip Yadav. Yadav got his maiden chance with RR in the last game only and gave only eight runs in two overs he came up with.
