4. CSK: Strongest – Ravindra Jadeja, Weakest – Cheteshwar Pujara

Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the yellow army had an elusive disappointing season last year and will be expected to have their normal services resumed. Because of CSK’s inferior batting in IPL 2020, Jadeja with his handful of opportunities scored a total of 232 runs at a healthy average of 46.40. In terms of his bowling in IPL 2020, the all-rounder had a difficult time in the middle but this time with the versatility of Indian pitches, one can very highly bank on him to have a quality IPL season.

With the presence of a very muscular Indian core, one might hardly feel the need for newly acquired Cheteshwar Pujara thus actually exhibiting himself as the team’s weakest link. In a general sense, he does looks be an added cover but with his barren T20 experience, it will be interesting to see how Pujara goes with his business. However, with captain Dhoni being well renowned for his match-winning moves, who knows even Pujara turns out as a match-winner for CSK.
