3. Karn Sharma

Karn Sharma is another player who has always been in the picture for the CSK franchise but has never received adequate playing time. He is another player who has performed admirably on the domestic circuit and on India A tours.

In the past, he was a key player for other franchises such as the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Mumbai Indians. However, since joining CSK, his cricketing career has suffered as a result of him not receiving adequate game time for the four-time champions.

Karn Sharma featured in just 12 IPL games when he was acquired by CSK in 2018. He just picked 10 wickets and was expensive throughout the seasons. Due to the presence of legendary leg spinner Imran Tahir, who played more games than him, he did not get enough chances in the team. Furthermore, the team had Ravindra Jadeja among its ranks, making it practically impossible for him to get consistent chances in the tournament.
