'Meher kari rabba' - Harbhajan Singh posts an emotional message for the migrant workers amid Coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has affected India at large in the last few days. At the time of writing this, there have been 933 patients who have been tested positive with coronavirus in India. The death count in the country has reached till 20.

The 21-day lockdown which has been announced by the Indian government is to make sure that the virus doesn’t spread anymore in a country. The population of India is 1.3 billion people and this virus could spread very rapidly if not taken care of. The coronavirus has affected more than 6 lakh people in the world while causing death to more than 28,000 people already.

Given the strict actions of the lockdown of the nation to stop the virus, the public movement has been restricted across the country. People have been asked to stay at their homes and not go outside. Government is trying to make sure that people get all their daily necessities without having to go outside.

But, some people still go to work like migrant workers. However, as public transport has been shut down by the Indian government due to the lockdown people have to go to work while walking without having any choice.

Harbhajan Singh asks everyone to pray for the migrant workers

Due to the lockdown, daily wage workers and migrant workers in the country are suffering a lot. Many people have been left unemployed due to this entire lockdown. Former Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh posted a very emotional message for all his fans in regard to this situation. In the tweet which he posted on his official twitter handle, he urged everyone to pray for everyone’s safety during these desperate times.

The post also included a picture of migrant workers. He urged his fans to pray for the migrant workers while they are on their way back home. “praying for everyone’s safety.. please pray for these people they are on their way home .. meher kari rabba.. sirf Tera aasra”, he tweeted.

A lot of people have come out and supported in helping distribute the food to the poor people. Even the state governments are doing their best to ensure that all the necessities are reached to poor people. On Friday, Harbhajan Singh also announced that the organisation Cry India and he together have started an amazing campaign to help 3.5 lakh unprivileged children plus grassroots workers during the pandemic. He asked his fans to donate to the noble cause and help them in the campaign.
