All you need to know about wedding of Mohammad Amir

Pakistan pace bowling sensation Mohammad Amir is all set to begin a new innings of his life. Amir, who has been in the news for his performances on the field and the controversies too, is now performing his wedding ceremonies. Amir’s wedding will be decorated with three wedding events.

While the Mehendi function took place on Monday, the reception and the valima have been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, as per the Express-News report. The 24-year old felt it was the right time to get married. He also acknowledged the fact that everybody needs a partner at some stage of the life. He believes that sooner or later, the day had to arrive. He added that he did not feel the need to wait any longer for the wedding to happen.

“I felt it was the right time for me to get into a relationship,” Mohammad Amir had quoted The Express Tribune in an interview. “One has to get a life partner at some stage of life, so I decided to do it now. I didn’t feel the need to wait any longer,” added the 24-year old pace bowler.

Amir met his wife-to-be Narjis Khan during a family function almost 6 years ago. Since then they have got into a stronger bond of love. They got married in the ceremonious Nikkah ceremony about two years ago. As per the reports, Narjis Khan is a die hard cricket fan, who follows the sport closely.

She always roots for Mohammad Amir whenever Amir is in action on the field. She attends all the Pakistan matches and supports Amir. Amir is expected to wear a golden sherwani in one of the ceremonies. The couple will head to Dubai after the completion of the three ceremonious events. Amir will join the national side as Pakistan will take on West Indies in the limited-overs series in the UAE.

Commenting on whether the wedding was an arranged marriage, Amir said that he liked Nargis and married her only after her parents’ approval.
