MS Dhoni’s No. 7 jersey autographed warrior costume is being auctioned for charity

MS Dhoni is not just a player but an emotion for most cricket fans during his illustrious career. His achievements as the captain of the Indian cricket team are unmatched and he continues to be an asset even at the fag end of his career. His jersey number 7 has also garnered a lot of attention during this period. He wears number 7 as it is his date of birth 7th of July and he considers it lucky. A jersey that he wore in an advertisement is under auction and the funds raised will be used for charity.
The veteran is currently in England and will be soon coming back home after playing in the limited-overs leg of the tour. He reached the landmark of 10,000 ODI runs recently and was hailed by the cricketing fraternity for his contribution to Indian cricket. He also completed 300 catches in the format to go with 107 stumpings which is also a record. He still remains the only captain to have won all the three ICC trophies during his tenure.
For a noble cause
MS Dhoni recently appeared in a Snickers Advertisement and the jersey he wore in the same is up for bids online at the auction hosted by Salt Scout. Along with that, there is a warrior costume autographed by Dhoni which is up for grabs as well. The bidding process is live at the moment and it ends on August 9.
All the funds raised from this auction will be donated to the cancer patients at the Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation. Moreover, the amount collected will be used for the benefit of the patients whose annual income is less than Rs 30,000.
Auctioning Dhoni’s jersey is the first foray for Salt Scout with a sportsperson after being associated with the Bollywood celebrities such as Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
