The wishes came on September 8, exactly a month later, which furrowed a number of eyebrows.

The month of July is the birth month of a number great Indian cricketers. Moreover, two of them in Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni, celebrate their birthdays one day after the other. Both were exemplary leaders for their national team and garnered a plethora of laurels across their illustrious careers. While Dhoni celebrates his birthday on July 7, ‘Dada’ celebrates the same on July 8.
Ganguly shouldered the Indian team at a time when cricket in the country was tarnished by match-fixing scandals. Nevertheless, the Behala-born cricketer didn’t give up the ghost and changed the face of Indian cricket. Previously Steve Waugh, the former Australian cricketer, termed India as the ‘final frontier’ and the comments were manifested later as India won the series 2-1.
Ojha gets it terribly wrong
Ganguly also captained the Indian team to the final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He made his final appearance in international cricket in India’s Test against Australia in Nagpur. The genius also plied his trade in the IPL where he played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Pune Warriors. He was last seen in action for Sachin’s Blasters in their match against Warne’s Warriors in the United States.
On 46-year-old Ganguly’s birthday, the cricketing fraternity poured him with wishes and appreciations for his contributions to Indian cricket. In the meantime, Naman Ojha, the wicketkeeper-batsman from Madhya Pradesh, wished the former Indian cricketer, but interestingly, the wishes came on September 8, exactly a month later, which furrowed a number of eyebrows.
The 35-year old cricketer took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy Birthday dada @SGanguly99.”
Here is Ojha’s tweet

Quite expectantly, the users on the social media platform found the post hilarious and they ridiculed him for his rather atrocious post, which indeed appeared as a bolt from the blue.
