Ravindra Jadeja’s career in the shorter formats of the game hit a roadblock in 2017 when he was dropped from the squad in favour of an attacking spin combination of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. However, he came back into the team during the 2018 Asia Cup and has kept his place in the team as the spin bowling all-rounder.

The 32-year-old’s batting has been quite outstanding over the last couple of years and add that to his miserly bowling spells, you have an all-rounder of the highest quality. He generally comes in at No.7 and averages 32.58 in ODI’s. He has also picked up 188 wickets in 168 games and has an excellent economy rate of 4.92.

He has scored 217 runs in 50 T20Is, numbers which are acceptable, bearing in mind his recent batting form. The Gujarat-born player has picked up 39 wickets and has an incredible economy rate of just 7.1. He is arguably the best fielder in the world and is one of the most complete players at present.
