The reel life Dhoni, Sushant Singh Rajput, has come out in support of the real life MS Dhoni yet again. Sushant has been very vocal in his opinions about the star Indian cricketer. Time and again, he has been seen supporting MSD through his social media updates. In the recent times, the former Indian skipper has been facing a lot of heat from the critics and sports pundits.

Many believe that it is perhaps the end of the road for MS Dhoni in world cricket. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly recently made bold statements when he doubted the credibility of Dhoni in the shortest format of the game. Also, former Australian skipper Michael Clarke pointed out that it is high time that Dhoni starts performing to save his place in the side.

Talking about the cricket field, the former Indian skipper was sacked as the captain of the Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL 10. His performances in the tournament too have not been great thus far. Amidst all this, the haters of the star cricketer or perhaps the one who feel that it is the end of the career of MS Dhoni started trending the hashtag of #DhoniDropped a couple of days ago.

Criticism has found its way to Dhoni from all corners and there seems to be no end to the harsh words coming the way of the only captain to have won all the major ICC Trophies. It comes as utmost shame to see a leader of his calibre being shamed this way. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput gave a fitting reply to all the haters of Dhoni with a single tweet recently.

He noted that he is getting such criticism only because of the fact that he has set such high standards. It is only a matter of time before he gets back to his prime and answers the critics with his bat. In his tweet, Sushant Singh Rajput wrote, “The fact that Dhoni is so harshly scrutinised shows his class &the standard he has set. It’s a matter of time &not hope his bat will answer.”

Sushant had played the titular role in the biopic of the star cricketer – MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. The movie released last year and was a big success at the box office. The actor shares a great camaraderie with the former Indian captain.
