The whole nation was shell-shocked when the news of Yuvraj Singh diagnosed with Cancer spread like wildfire a few years ago. He was the Man of the Series for India in the World Cup in 2011 and the hero had played the tournament with all the pain. But he fought bravely with the biggest hurdle of his life and was cured of the deadly disease. No wonder that his story is extremely inspirational and the younger generation looks up to him for the same. Similarly, he is an idol of the 11-year-old fan Rocky who is currently suffering from Cancer.

The world had thought that they might have seen the last of Yuvraj on the field after he was diagnosed with a  golf ball-sized non-malignant tumour in his lungs. But he fought bravely to earn his life back and stunningly came back in the Indian team as well in September 2012. Though his heroics have not been the same ever since then, Yuvi surely became an inspiration for many.

Yuvi spends time with a young fan

Yuvraj Singh is currently plying his trade in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and is in Indore for their next game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). During the practice session of the team on Thursday, the young fan named Rocky approached him and Yuvi spent some valuable with him. Sadly, the child is also suffering from Cancer and the swashbuckling left-hander is his idol like many.

The official Twitter handle of KXIP posted the pictures of Yuvi gifting his jersey to Rocky and wished the kid a speedy recovery. The fans were in awe of him soon and lauded him for his heartfelt gesture towards a fan. Though Yuvraj is not at his best on the field right now, he won hearts of everyone on the day.
