Virat Kohli among the hottest men in Asia in 2018

There are only a handful of days left before 2018 comes to an end. So the countdown has begun of almost everything that caught the attention in the soon-to-be-over year. From controversies, wealthiest, most popular – a list for almost everything one could think of is going viral over the internet as people recall the moments of the ongoing year. Among these lists, one interesting one that recently came out is the list of hottest Asian Men in 2018.

Well, no list nowadays is complete without featuring Indian cricket heartthrob Virat Kohli and the latest one is not an exception either. The dashing India skipper, who has millions of followers not only for his unprecedented exploits on the cricket field but also for being an icon with his style as well as fitness is tenth in the list which is dominated by men from entertainment sectors.

The list is led by South Korean Boy Band BTS also known as the Bangtan Boys. Television superstar Vivian Dsena and Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor complete the top three. Pop singer Zayn Malik and Hrithik Roshan follow the top three at number four and five respectively.

Coming to Kohli, he is one of the most popular personalities in not only India but also across the world. His meteoric rise from a rookie to the poster-boy of Indian cricket is nothing short of phenomenal. The 30-year-old started churning out runs at a time when India lost several stalwarts to retirements. And the lad from Delhi has made sure that Indian cricket does not miss the legendary names much with his unbelievable batting and equally impressive captaincy.

The India skipper along with his predecessor MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar feature in the top 10 of Forbes India Celebrity 100 list too. With a staggering earning of Rs 228.09 crore in 2018, Kohli is second in the list while Dhoni and Tendulkar are fifth and ninth respectively.

Kohli, meanwhile, is currently in Australia, leading the side in the Tests as he eyes to become the first Indian skipper to win a Test series Down Under.
