Watch: Bangladesh Fan Apologizes To Indian Superfan Sudhir Gautam For The Attack Incident: A Bangladeshi fan met Sudhir Gautam face to face and apologized to him for his countrymen’s uncalled for attack on Sudhir. Sudhir had claimed that he was attacked by Bangladeshi cricket fans in Dhaka on Sunday.

The 34 year old who always paints his body with the Indian tri-color and the name of Tendulkar on his back told a Hindi news channel he was attacked by a mob following the 2nd ODI of the series against Bangladesh at Dhaka. Sudhir said he was “pelted by stones” and his “auto-rickshaw was attacked” in Dhaka. He said security officials came to his rescue when the infuriated mob chased him.

The 17 second video starts with a Bangladeshi fan saying to Sudhir Gautam, “We are sorry for whatever happeened and we are sorry from the bottom of our hearts it should not have happened. While I will also request you to come to Bang whenever the two teams play agaain do come back.”

Sudhir Gautam replied,” Its fine,I have forgiven those guys and everything is all right now”. The gentlemanly gesture from the Bangladeshi fan really needs to be applauded and it might eventually reduce the tensions prevailing between the people of both India and Bangladesh on social media after that attack.
