Mustafizur Rahman who has been the most sensational bowler for Bangladesh for the last year or so and has emerged as the best pace bowling talent around the world; once again played a part in obstructing the batsman, this time, it was Chittagong’s Yasir Ali who had to pay the price. The Viking’s were 24/2 when Anamul Haque chipped the ball for a single.
Both the batsmen went for the run, but the bowler came in the non-strikers path, Yasir was found short of his crease, as Malcolm Waller hit the stumps. Yasir Ali was clearly disappointed, but he had head his way back to the pavilion.

Dhaka Dynamites all but cemented their place in the BPL’s last four, even as Chittagong Vikings turned out to be the first team to be eliminated from this year’s competition. The margin of victory was 45 runs after Dhaka had made a modest 121 for 8. Chittagong were nine down for 76, their second sub-100 score this season, with Ziaur Rahman not coming out to bat because of an injured shoulder.
Mosharraf Hossain’s four-wicket haul boosted the dynamites to get back to winning ways and move up to eight points with two matches to play. The win came as a thrilling effect to a side that had slumped to three successive defeats in the competition. Dhaka’s total proved challenging as Chittagong who lost half their side in just 11.1 overs of their 122-run chase.
