In the recent times, Hardik Pandya has evolved leaps and bounds as a cricketer. This all-rounder from Baroda has been one of the most important members in the Indian team for quite some time now. He is equally skilled both with the bat as well as the ball which helps the dynamics of the team.

Because of his presence in the XI, the management has the freedom to go with an extra batsman if the need be. Apart from his on-field heroics, Hardik Pandya is extremely famous for the various hairstyles that he sports. We often see him try to a ton of things with his hair. These sometimes get quite funny as well and we also see his teammates crack jokes about his hairstyle. Recently, Wikipedia updated Hardik Pandya’s profile with a new nickname.

There were instances when this 24-year-old all-rounder dyed his hair blue. He often takes people by quite a surprise with his hairstyles which are usually unpredictable. It could possibly be due to the hairstyles he sports that Wikipedia decided to update Hardik Pandya’s profile with a new nickname. He was named ‘Hairy’ in the Wikipedia page and this is going viral at the moment and the screenshot of the profile is doing circles in various social media sites.

Pandya is currently touring England with the Indian cricket team. He is the part of the T20I and ODI squads currently. It is highly likely that he gets to feature in the Test squad as well. In the 3-match T20I series that India won 2-1, Pandya was brilliant both with the bat as well as the ball. He scored 45 runs in two innings and also picked 6 wickets.

In the two ODIs played thus far, Pandya only managed to pick 1 wicket. He scored 21 runs in one innings. Pandya is expected to play a critical role in the series decider on Tuesday. Furthermore, he also has a big role to play in the Test matches.
