Colin Ingram has made a name for himself in T20 leagues across the globe. His reputation as a T20 player is really high. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had a successful IPL career.

The South African batsman has been a hit in various T20 leagues such as the PSL and BBL. He was successful in the English domestic circuit as well. This resulted in him getting an IPL contract as he went on to represent the Delhi-based franchise.

However, he always struggled in the IPL and hasn’t even scored an IPL fifty. In the 15 games he has played, he has only scored 205 runs at an average and strike rate of 17.08 and 113.89 respectively. Thus, it is safe to say that Ingram is a perfect example of a cricketer who was a major hit in other T20 leagues but turned out to be a flop in the IPL.
