Another Kiwi player, Corey Anderson is on cards to be released by the Royal Challengers as the all-rounder too ended the previous season without making an impactful impression. However, he was just featured by the team in three matches where he contributed 17 runs and claimed 3 wickets.

The 27-year-old was in the reckoning for a spot in the New Zealand squad for a long time but has been out of the scene recently, owing to his inconsistency with both bat and ball. He last played a T20I for his country in February 2017. RCB might look to find some in-form replacements for him in the auction or in the trade window.
