5. Mohammed Azharuddeen

The Kerala wicketkeeper batter was in the center of attention for his outstanding performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He holds the record for the second-fastest century in SMAT history. He hit a century in 37 balls and racked up 137 runs off 54 balls at a devastating strike rate of 253.70.
Azharuddeen is primarily a top-order opener, but he has batted in all positions in domestic competitions. As a result, he can be used as a floater at any number and can improve the run rate by striking the balls at any point during the game. He has a wide range of shots, which he demonstrated in SMAT. Furthermore, he is a very consistent batter who consistently contributes crucial runs for the team.
He is also a capable wicketkeeper. He is an excellent wicketkeeper who fills in for Kerala’s captain Sanju Samson when he is away on national duty. Overall, he is an excellent choice because he can fill a variety of roles in the batting order, and successful teams have used floaters to increase their run rate in the middle. As a result, Azharuddeen is one player who teams will keep an eye on during the mega auction.
