Cricketers are no less than the celebrities in India and the best thing about the fans in this country is that they love the players from all over the world. The craze for AB de Villiers is amazing and even he acknowledges the same whenever he visits India. Rashid Khan has also garnered a lot of attention in the last couple of years and his fan following in India has increased immensely thanks to the IPL.

With the evolution of the social media over the years, it has become easy for the crazy followers to connect with their favourite cricketing celebrities. But it is very rare that they respond to them in person which is the dream of every fan. Similarly, a lady fan of Aakash Chopra and Rashid wanted a reply from them on Twitter and both of them joined hands to complete her wish.

In an amazing conversation, the girl named Mehhai Rathore (according to Twitter) requested Aakash Chopra to help her get a reply from Rashid Khan whom she admires a lot. The cricketer turned Hindi commentator obliged to her request kindly and tagged the leggie from Afghanistan to respond to her. Interestingly, Rashid was also quick to listen to his friend’s suggestion as he replied to Mehhai.

This is a superb gesture from both the cricketers as they made a fan’s day by fulfilling her dreams and it should not be a surprise if many fans now request Aakash Chopra to connect them with their favourite cricketers.

Currently, Rashid is plying his trade in the ongoing T20 Blast for Sussex and will be playing against Kent in Canterbury today. On the other hand, Aakash Chopra is enjoying a break from the work and is expected to be back to the commentary in the upcoming Asia Cup in September.
