The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) is set to launch the inaugural edition of the Andhra Premier League this month with six teams. The competition will commence on July 6, and the top four teams from Coastal Riders, Bezawada Tigers, Godavari Titans, Uttarandhra Lions, Vizag Warriors and Rayalaseema Kings, will qualify for the playoffs.

In the playoff, the team that finishes first and second on the league table will face each other for Qualifier 1, and the team finishing third and fourth face off for the Eliminator. The winner of Qualifier 1 will qualify for the final, while the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator face off for Qualifier 2. The winner of Qualifier 2 will qualify for the final to meet the winner of Qualifier 1, which will take place on July 17.

The captains leading the teams are CR Gnaneshwar Reddy for Coastal Riders, Ricky Bhui for Bezawada Tigers, K Venkata Sasikanth for Godavari Titans, K Srikar Bharat for Uttarandhra Lions, K Ashwin Hebbar for Vizag Warriors and P Girinath Reddy for Rayalaseema Kings.
